Some memoir ideas are the following:
Music:
A great memoir would be about how music has changed my life. I started playing when I was in 3rd grade and took private lessons. I could describe music as a bestfriend and how music has been there with me through good times and bad times. Some advantages for this would be that I've always been so thankful to have supportive parents who have helped me become a greater musician. Some disadvantages would be that not all people understand how music can influence people. Music is also very time consuming and very disciplined. I've learned in music school that everybody likes music and it may not be classical, but it can be a radio song or a song on a movie. Music also reaches all ages of people.
Scary Experience;
Another idea for memoir would be a very scary experience I had in a not so scary town. I live in Clinton Township with my fiancé, a ca and a dog. I have a great life, a great family, and my favorite car. I have a small black Fiat, even though it is not so good with the Michigan potholes. I always get flat tires. This time I was on my was to announce at an OU Hockey game when I got a flat tire right on Hall Road. I know how to change a tire because it's happened to me so many times, but this time was terrible. It was dark and cold outside and I couldn't jack my car off the ground. A creepy man pulled over and told me " Be careful who stops for you, you never know who is going to bash you on the head and kidnap you." With me being a 5 foot tall, small girl, I was scared out of my mind! Some advantages would be that people will read this and try to be more aware of their surroundings and always have some type of protection with you. A disadvantage would be that people would be scared of anyone who stops for them , even if the person really is a good Samaritan. From this I learned that not all people are good and you have to be aware of what it happening around you.
Being Engaged and Wedding Planning:
I am so happy that I am engaged! My fiancé took me to LA for a whole week, got a great hotel room, and proposed to me on the balcony of our room with all of the city lights behind him. I loved the way he proposed to me. After, we watched the stars outside and really enjoyed everything that was happening in our life. We looked back through pictures of us from when we first started dating, pictures from when we first met in high school. It was very sweet and very fun. We did so many things in LA it was the perfect proposal for us. However, wedding planning is so hard! We are getting married at the Detriot Athletic Club in the beginning of 2021. It seems so far but really its so close! We still have so many things to do and its in two years! Some advantages would be that people can be happy when their engagement and that they can plan ahead for their wedding. I would also give ideas of places people can go to find deals on all wedding things. A disadvantage would be that people might get nervous with how much thought and planning goes into a wedding and not enjoy their engagement. I learned that you can have a great balance between both. Plan early and get things little by little!
